Re: Modern Scoring Brass

That seems to be the name of the game honestly - getting the low end out of it. Shame, would really like to see what ole samy boy could do with MSB, considering it's essentially covering part of SM's territory. The library is quite playable - even produces the same amount of demos from people riding...

Re: Modern Scoring Brass

Re: Modern Scoring Brass

still downloading it... the Mahler exerpt sounds good - I'll let you know when I can actually play with the individual mics.

it interestingly left the center decca mic separate, which might be an absolute blessing(a mono but distant signal)

Re: Sankt Georg

as far as the cartoon, short and sweet - although I could almost hear Jordan Peterson in the background with his Kermit voice narrating, comparing it to kids skateboarding - and mice.

Re: Ghost of a Tale

It is. Each time it's impressive but I wasn't in a big studio for this one and with no reverb, you can hear how they have a unique sound, how precise they are. no joke, I first thought it was samples because that section was TOO clean XD thinking, no way was that just played that cleanly - rewind -...

samy recorded an oboe part then doubled it and phase switched it.

so there's a hidden oboe that only a computer could recognize lol
