Chosta - Symphony 8 - Allegro non tropo

Can't get enough of it. There was a time I listened to this movement everyday, because it's very inspiring.

It has this "grotesque" and in the same time deeply wounded feeling, an ambiguity between extreme and contradictory emotions.

Dmitri was great composer... I'm addicted to Symphony 5 too.
Actually, within each new listening of any Dmitri's Symhony I'm always discovering some new motifs.

I've never heard this Shosty Symphony before, and I'm entranced by it. It's jagged, and propulsive. I love it! Thank you for sharing!

Those scratchy strings in the beginning, and those tutti brass and perc stabs. I love it!
