Hans Zimmer has been brought in to score the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die. It has not been confirmed yet whether he will be taking sole composer credit or if he will be sharing scoring credit with one of his regular collaborators. Dan Romer was originally announced as the movie’s composer.

No Time to Die is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Léa Seydoux, Lashana Lynch, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, Christoph Waltz, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas and Ralph Fiennes. Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli are producing the project for EON Productions. Variety first reported about Zimmer’s involvement, which has been rumored online over the last couple of weeks.

Zimmer (as executive music producer) and Steve Mazzaro (as the credited composer) have previously been hired to replace another composer on EON’s thriller The Rhythm Section (to be released on January 31 by Paramount Pictures). No Time to Die is set to be released on April 10, 2020 by MGM Studios.

What do you think? Should we be expecting a Lorne Balfe score? Symphonic Big Band extravaganza?

I think HZ himself will only do the theme for Blofeld, because both are German. It is going to be a Sheppard tone sequence laying out the interval of a tritone B - F (like BloFeld).
Alternatively, Hans will have a signature theme H - A - Es (in German notation the B is called H and E flat is called Es). He will personally sign his work in the tradition of J.S Bach. Apart from the flash of genius leading to those ideas, the work will be done by additional composers! But - as we all know - what counts are those ideas and themes ...

I wonder how many hypocrites who denounce so-called sexist behaviors day and night on the internet masturbate on that kind of movie, suddenly forgetting how much they respected women on Twitter lol.

I’d wager many, many of them! Projection is all those poorly programmed NPCs have got to offer. Makes me sick. Outrage culture policed by those that are, IMO, outrageously backwards and fucked in the head.
